Greta Loring has worked in the biopharmaceutical industry since 2004. Greta began their career as a Post Doctoral Research Associate at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center, where they worked in the lab of Dr. Charles Brenner on ubiquitination and the cell cycle. In 2007, Greta joined Altus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. as a Scientist I. Two years later, they moved to Alnara Pharmaceuticals as a Scientist III. In 2011, they were hired by Enzymatics, Inc. as a Director of Product Development and Product Development Scientist. In 2013, Greta joined both Alcresta and Allena Pharmaceuticals as a Director of Analytical Development. In 2015, they were promoted to Senior Director of Research and New Product Planning at Alcresta, Inc. and in 2020, they were promoted again to Vice President of Research and New Product Development at Alcresta Therapeutics.
Greta Loring obtained their B.S. in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology from Juniata College between 1994 and 1998. Greta then went on to earn their Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the University of Iowa Roy J. and Lucille A. Carver College of Medicine between 1998 and 2004.
