Tom Cygan

Tom Cygan is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in manufacturing and technical operations. Currently serving as the Technical Operations Engineering Manager at Alcresta Therapeutics since March 2025, Tom has previously held significant positions at T2 Biosystems, including Senior Manager of Production Support and NPI and Principal Manufacturing Engineer from September 2013 to March 2025. Tom’s career includes roles at Interlace Medical/Hologic as a Senior Manufacturing Engineer/R&D Engineer, and at CR Bard - Davol, Inc as a Senior Advanced Manufacturing Engineer. Additionally, Tom has contributed to NDO Surgical, MDS Sciex, Applied Biosystems, and Tellabs in various engineering capacities. Tom holds a Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University, earned between 1995 and 1999.
