Andrea Steenstrup

Andrea Steenstrup has over 30 years of work experience in the finance and accounting fields. Andrea began their career in 1987 as a Financial Analyst & Research Assistant for the New York State Department of Health. In 1989, they moved to GE, where they worked as a Specialist, Audit Tools, Corporate Audit Staff. In 1990, they joined Rockoff, Harlon, Rasof Ltd. as a Certified Public Accountant. From 1993 to 2007, they worked at CIGNA Healthcare as the Director of Medical Economics, where they managed a $230 million budget and provided financial support for hospital contracting. From 2003 to 2007, they also served as the PTA Treasurer at Seattle Public Schools - Coe Elementary School. From 2000 to 2003, they were the PTA Treasurer at London Borough of Richmond upon Thames - Vineyard Elementary School. From 2007 to 2014, they worked as the PTO Treasurer, School Council Member, and Active Community Participant at Newton Public Schools - Cabot, Day & North Schools. From 2014 to 2018, they were the Financial Controller at ArthroMeda, Inc. and from 2018 to present, they are the Senior Director of Finance at Alcyone Therapeutics Inc.

Andrea Steenstrup obtained their Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 1987, followed by a Master of Business Administration in Health Systems Management, Accounting & Finance from the same institution in 1989. Additionally, they hold a Certified Public Accountant certification from the State of Illinois.
