Burt Raymond

Burt Raymond has worked in the medical device industry since 2001. In that time, they have held various roles with different companies. Burt started as an Engineer at BioValve in 2001, where they provided crucial design modifications to a disposable infusion pump. From 2004 to 2010, they were a Project Engineer at AngioDynamics, Inc., where they led multidisciplinary project teams to successful commercialization of four product launches. From 2010 to 2013, they were a Senior Engineer at St. Jude Medical. In 2013, they became a Senior Engineer at BD, where they were the project lead of two multidisciplinary teams that launched Eclipse SmartSlip needle and Private Label conventional syringe and needle line extensions. From 2016 to 2017, they were a Program Manager at Vention Medical. Burt was also a Principal Engineer at Boston Scientific from 2016 to 2019. In 2019, they became an Associate Director of Program Management and a Sr. R&D Engineer at Alcyone Therapeutics Inc., and a Quality Engineer at Abbott.

Burt Raymond attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute from 1997 to 2001, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering.
