Robert Thompson is an experienced contract management professional with a strong background in overseeing pre-contract activities for high-profile projects both in Abu Dhabi and internationally. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at ALDAR since January 2019, Robert has held various roles within the company, including Vice President for Professional Services and Assistant Vice President for Commercial Contracts. Prior experience includes a Project Manager position at AECOM, where Robert managed project profitability, design delivery, and client relations, and a Design Manager role at Interserve, overseeing diverse projects in the North East of England. Robert began the career as a Design Integration Engineer at Taylor Woodrow Construction and as a Graduate Design Manager at Amec. A graduate of Loughborough University, Robert holds a BSc (Hons) in Architectural Engineering & Design Management.
