Esam Bin Kawther

Dr. Esam Kawther serves as the Executive Director of King Abdulaziz University Endowment (Alwaqf), a senior advisor to the University’s president and member of the business school faculty. Prior to his current role, Dr. Kawther served in multiple corporate leadership roles including at AlRajhi Bank and Dar Alsalam Holding. He is a member of the supervisory committee of the Islamic World Relief Organization and the committee for Special Needs Services in Mecca. He is founder, a partner and a Board member of several businesses. He holds a doctorate in international business from the University of South Carolina, a masters degree in industrial management from North Texas State University, and a bachelor's degree in business administrator from King Abdulaziz University.
