Rebecca Powell

For the past fourteen years, she have been teaching art and photography in London and Essex schools, with twelve years in Head of Department and Achievement Team Leader roles. At Cecil Jones Academy, she iscurrently Director of Faculty of the Creative and Performing Arts, enabling her to lead a great team delivering a varied diet of Arts education. She is also a contributor to Arts education policy at a national level as a representative for the All-Party Parliamentary Group on Arts Education.

She is driven to provide opportunities for the students to develop academically, practically as well as socially; and grateful for the chance to be a part of Cecil Jones Academy's governance and look forward to delivering positive change.
