George Spanakis

George Spanakis has a diverse work experience in the fields of accounting and finance. George started their career as a Chief Accountant at Fresh Gourmet S.A. in 2000 and continued in that role until 2005. George then served as the Chief Accountant at Megaplast from 2005 to 2006 before transitioning to the position of CFO at Latomiki S.A. In 1996, they worked as an Oikonomologos at Γ.ΣΠΑΝΑΚΗΣ & ΣΥΝΕΡΓΑΤΕΣ, where they gained experience in tax advisory, business bookkeeping, and financial accounting. Prior to that, they were employed as a Chief Accountant at Romvos SA, a construction company specializing in public works. In 2006, George took on the role of CFO at GamaSigma Constructions S.A., where they focused on technical construction projects in Crete. George is currently working as the Chief Accountant at Aldemar Resorts.

George Spanakis completed the IFRS Learning & Assessment Programme at ICAEW in 2016-2017. Prior to that, from 1989 to 1994, they studied Economics at the University of Piraeus and obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree.
