William Alderman

William H. Alderman is the President of Alderman & Company, a sell-side M&A advisory firm that he founded in 2001, which exclusively serves the middle market of the aerospace and defense industry. During his career, Mr. Alderman has completed more than $1 Billion in mergers and acquisition-related transactions. Prior to 2001, Mr. Alderman worked for a decade on Wall Street and for industry, predominantly working on M&A transactions in the middle market of the aerospace and defense industry. His past employers include Fieldstone Capital, BT Securities, General Electric and Aviation Sales Company. Mr. Alderman is a graduate of the J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and Kenyon College, where he was a varsity soccer player and recipient of numerous athletic awards. Mr. Alderman is a Securities Principal registered with the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) and has four securities industry licenses (Series 7, 24, 63, and 65). Mr. Alderman currently serves on the board of directors of Telos Corporation (OTC:TLSRP). In the past, Mr. Alderman has served on the following boards: UFC Aerospace, now a unit of Boeing; Cox & Co., an ESOP-owned manufacturer of de-icing systems; and Breeze Eastern Corporation (AMEX: BZC), now a unit of Transdigm. From 2007-2019, he served on the board of DLH Corporation (NASD: DLHC). Mr. Alderman is a commercial pilot with more than 30 years of flying experience and owns and operates a Cirrus SR-22 aircraft. Among other volunteer activities, Mr. Alderman is an active Command Pilot for Patient Airlift Services. He has been a member of the Wings Club of New York since 1992. Mr. Alderman has frequently spoken at high-profile aerospace and defense industry conferences in the United States and abroad, including the flagship annual Aviation Week and SpeedNews conferences. He has been quoted as an industry expert by Aviation Week, Bloomberg, Marketwatch, USA Today, Chicago Tribune, Los Angeles Times, Reuters, and the Washington Post.
