Peter Leonard

Peter Leonard is a seasoned credit risk professional with extensive experience in the banking sector, currently serving as Head of Credit Risk for Commercial Real Estate at Aldermore Bank PLC since September 2016. In this role, Peter leads a team of Sanction Managers responsible for underwriting and approving finance applications in high-value lending areas, including Buy to Let and Commercial Property Investment. Prior to this, Peter held senior positions as a Senior Credit Manager and Business Support Relationship Director at Lloyds Banking Group, overseeing stressed debt management in the real estate sector. Peter's career began at Bank of Scotland, where roles included Credit Sanctioning Underwriter and Relationship Director, focusing on credit risk and client relationship management. Peter holds a Bachelor's Degree in Financial Services from UMIST and has achieved multiple O and A levels from Holmes Chapel Comprehensive School.
