Steve Chalfant

Steve Chalfant is a seasoned facilities and engineering professional with extensive experience in the biopharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Director of Facilities & EHS at Aldevron since February 2018, Steve has previously held positions such as Facilities Manager at Althea and Vital Therapies, Inc., where responsibilities included problem identification and resolution across functional areas. At Dendreon, Corp, Steve supervised the establishment of a production support team and contributed to projects for FDA approval. Earlier roles included facilities maintenance at Pacira Pharmaceuticals Inc. and mechanical support at Favrille, Inc. and BIOGEN IDEC. Steve's career began at Agouron-Pfizer, focusing on the calibration and maintenance of laboratory equipment. Steve holds a High School Diploma from Colorado Mountain College and has furthered education at Palomar College.
