Aldgate Connect BID

As Aldgate’s dedicated Business Improvement District (BID), we work in collaboration with both The City of London and Tower Hamlets to make our slice of East London more welcoming, appealing, protected and stronger for all. Since forming in April 2020, the BID has attracted new visitors with a year-round events programme, featuring Easter egg hunts, craft workshops, and winter and summer festivals; contributed to the launch of both the In the City app and City Gift Card to encourage local spending; supported local community initiatives and charities, including Aldgate’s local food bank; and improved the public realm through several greening and art projects.
