Xochitl Rodríguez

Associate Superintendent of Schools, Secondary Schools at Aldine ISD

Dr. Xochitl Rodriguez will take on the new role of Associate Superintendent of High Schools. Dr. Rodriguez supervises 15 high schools and oversees the Executive Director of Postsecondary Outcomes.

Prior to joining Aldine ISD, Dr. Rodriguez served Fort Bend ISD as an Assistant Superintendent in School Leadership. Before transitioning to Fort Bend ISD, Dr. Rodriguez served the Houston Independent School District as a High School Improvement Officer, principal at Gallegos Elementary, principal at Jackson Middle School and principal at Lee High School. Dr. Rodriguez started her career in education as a middle school ELA teacher in East Houston. Xochitl earned her bachelor’s degree from Texas Tech University, masters in curriculum and instruction from University of Houston and a doctorate of education from the University of Texas at Austin, Cooperative Superintendency Program (CSP). Xochitl also serves as an adjunct professor for the University of Houston. Outside of work, Xochitl enjoys spending time with her family in Houston and San Antonio, Texas.
