Erik Berglund

Erik Berglund is a seasoned finance professional currently serving as a Portfolio Manager at Alecta, Sweden's largest occupational pension fund manager, since July 2023. In this role, Erik is part of the Fixed Income team, managing a substantial portion of Alecta's portfolio, including fixed income securities and alternative credit investments. Prior to joining Alecta, Erik held various positions in investment banking and finance, including roles at Carnegie Investment Bank and Nordea, where responsibilities included arranging and executing debt transactions for private equity clients. Erik's earlier experience includes working as an Investment Analyst at Nest Capital, a Tax Specialist at Inland Revenue NZ, and part-time duties at ASB Bank's National Currency Processing centre. Erik holds an MSc in Finance from Stockholm University and a Bachelor's degree in Finance & Economics from The University of Auckland, along with a high school diploma in Business/Commerce.
