Chris Rankin

Chris Rankin has extensive experience in the field of cybersecurity and technology. Chris most recently worked at Alector as an Associate Director, leading the cyber security and IT infrastructure teams. Prior to that, they served as a Manager of Security Engineering at Guardant Health, where they developed cross-functional relationships and implemented security technologies to meet compliance requirements. Chris also gained valuable experience at Exact Sciences as a Senior Information Security Engineer, responsible for security operations, engineering, and architecture. Chris began their career at Robert Half International as an Information Security Analyst, where they implemented an Incident Response Program and led the Incident Response Team. Chris brings a strong background in cybersecurity strategy, team management, and technology implementation to their roles.

Chris Rankin has a Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems Security from the University of Phoenix, which they obtained from 2011 to 2014. Before that, they earned an Associate's Degree in Network Security from Heald College, which they completed from 2008 to 2010. In addition to their formal education, Chris Rankin has obtained certifications such as the Okta Certified Professional from Okta, Inc. in April 2017, and the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in August 2014.
