Hira Ali is currently a member of the Computational Biology, Target Discovery & Genomics Team at Alector since June 2025, while also serving as an Ambassador for Muslim Women in Healthcare since June 2020. Prior experience includes roles at Enable Medicine as an Associate Scientist and Research Associate within the Commercial Team, focusing on end-to-end analysis for Fortune 500 clients and optimizing data generation workflows. Hira played a significant role as Director of the Educational Outreach Committee for the Neurodegenerative Diseases Awareness Association from September 2020 to June 2022, leading community education efforts. Earlier, Hira worked as a Research Assistant at UC San Diego, gaining valuable research skills while conducting studies in the Tuszynski Lab. Hira holds a Bachelor's degree in Neurobiology from UC San Diego and is currently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science at UC Berkeley Graduate Division.
