Virginia Dejesus-Rueff

Virginia DeJesus-Rueff serves as Chief of Staff and Head of Strategy at Alector since October 2018, bringing extensive experience in portfolio and program management. Prior to Alector, Virginia was with Genentech for over a decade, holding various leadership roles including Lifecycle Leader and Disease Area Director. Earlier career stages included positions at McKinsey & Company as an Associate and at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston as a Research Associate. Virginia holds an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and a BA in Economics from Dartmouth College.
