Brent Hinbest

Brent Hinbest is an experienced finance systems specialist with a professional background spanning over two decades in financial systems development and project management. Currently serving as a Specialist in Finance Systems at Alectra since August 2017, Brent focuses on IBM Cognos TM1 development, encompassing business requirements, technical design specifications, and project documentation. Prior to Alectra, Brent owned and operated B & W Services Ltd., providing consultancy for Cognos TM1 projects from April 2016 to August 2017. Previous roles include Senior Consultant at Newcomp Inc., TM1 Programmer at Maple Lodge Farms, Budget Analyst/TM1 Programmer at Shred-it, and Accounts Payable/Payroll at Alte-Rego Corporation. Brent holds an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on Accounting and Finance from Sheridan College, earned between 1997 and 2000.
