Lakmal Weerasekara is an experienced Android Senior Software Engineer currently working at Aleph-Labs since July 2022, contributing to the development of the UOB TMRW applications for Thailand and Indonesia. Prior to this role, Lakmal served as Manager - Software Engineering at Nations Trust Bank PLC, overseeing the “Nations Direct” digital banking application across iOS, Android, and Huawei platforms. With a career spanning over a decade, Lakmal has held senior positions at JRC Software and LAYOUTindex Ltd, as well as roles at Elegant Media Australia, Fidenz Pvt Ltd, Shift Group, ADG IT Hub, and Digiteq Solutions. Educational background includes a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from University College Dublin and advanced diplomas from the National Institute of Business Management in Sri Lanka.
