Eyad Darawsheh

Eyad Darawsheh is a seasoned professional in the education sector, currently serving as the General Manager of Miqyas Al Dhad at Alef Education since January 2022, where an innovative framework to enhance literacy skills for K-12 Arabic speakers is being developed. In addition, Eyad holds the position of Global Head of B2G Sales & Strategic Partnerships, leading efforts for global growth and forging strategic alliances to drive user and revenue expansion. Prior to Alef Education, Eyad co-founded Alpha Publishing & Smart Education in 2014, serving as Managing Director and focusing on delivering educational solutions. Previous experience includes serving as Director of Sales for Higher Education & Applied Learning at Pearson in the MENA region, as well as managing sales and market entry strategies in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Yemen, and Jordan. Eyad's academic background includes an MBA in International Business from Middlesex University and a BA in English Language and Literature from the University of Basrah.
