Guillermo Lamelas

Guillermo Lamelas Nogueira is the CEO and Co-founder of Alén Space, a Spanish provider of business solutions utilizing nanosatellites, since January 2018. Over the years, Guillermo has held various advisory roles, including Innovation Advisor and Strategy Advisor/Mentor at INMPACT, guiding government and corporations on open innovation strategies, as well as supporting startups in organizational and product development challenges. Prior experience includes serving as Business Acceleration Manager at Wayra/Telefónica Open Future_, where Guillermo contributed to the deployment of a vast innovation platform involving over 850 startups in multiple countries. Guillermo also has a background in financial management within Telefónica, overseeing significant debt management and project financing, as well as engineering roles focused on technological solutions for broadband networks. Education credentials include an MBA in Economics from INSEAD and a Master of Science in Telecom from Universidade de Vigo.
