Jaime Polo Bermejo has a diverse and extensive work experience in the engineering field.
Jaime started their career as a Trainee at SCI, Servicios de Control e Inspección in 2006.
Jaime then worked as a Trainee and later as an Electronics Engineer at the Instituto Nacional de Tecnica Aeroespacial (INTA) from 2007 to 2010. Jaime'sresponsibilities included designing and improving facilities for testing space solar cells and panels, as well as conducting tests using various laboratory instruments.
From 2012 to 2014, Jaime worked at CERN as a Technical Student and Researcher in the STI-ECE section. Jaime developed real-time drivers for controlling monitoring systems and conducted electronic testing and analysis.
Jaime then joined Cranfield University as a Researcher in 2014. Jaime'sresponsibilities included acquiring, processing, and analyzing SAR and tomographic radar images over vegetation for the ESA SWINTOL project.
In 2016, they worked as a Researcher at Delft University of Technology, where they focused on detecting water stress on crops using radar technology.
From 2018 to 2019, Jaime worked at PLD Space as an Instrumentation & Testing Engineer. Jaime developed test benches, performed qualification tests for space rocket systems, and upgraded test facilities.
Jaime'smost recent role was at Celestia STS, where they worked as a Verification and Test Engineer from 2020 to 2022. Jaime developed test plans, programmed test software, prepared documentation, and verified hardware for space communication systems.
Jaime's current position, starting in 2022, is as an AIV Engineer at Alén Space.
Jaime Polo Bermejo obtained a Master's Degree in Synthetic Aperture Radar over Vegetation from Cranfield University in the year 2015. Prior to that, from 2011 to 2014, they completed a Degree in Electronics and Industrial Automation Engineering at Universidad de Alcalá. In 2019, they received a Master's Degree in Space Science and Technology also from Universidad de Alcalá. Beginning in 2002 until 2008, Jaime pursued a Technical Industrial Engineering degree with a specialty in Industrial Electronics from Universidad de Alcalá as well.
