Rigo Orozco Diaz

Rigo Orozco Diaz is an experienced FPGA Engineer currently working at Alén Space since November 2024. Prior to this role, Rigo served as the Lead Avionics Embedded Software Engineer at Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, from May 2017 to October 2024, where responsibilities included designing and testing FPGA and C/C++ for Embedded Linux on Xilinx SoC devices, developing board support packages using PetaLinux/Yocto, and leading high-performance software-defined radio projects. Rigo's earlier experience includes a position as an Embedded Software Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services from June 2016 to April 2017, where coordination between onsite and offshore teams was a key responsibility, along with integrating diagnostic systems for ECU applications. Rigo holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Washington, earned in June 2016.
