Yasser Jadidi is the Co-Chief Research Officer (CRO) at Aleph Alpha Research in Heidelberg, where they co-lead foundational model development, innovation, and explainability efforts. Previously, they served as Senior Manager of AWS AI in Tübingen, leading forward-looking research and software engineering for AWS applications. Before their tenure at AWS, Yasser built and directed the Bosch Center for Artificial Intelligence, overseeing a significant research division. They hold a PhD in Engineering (Control Theory) from the University of Stuttgart, where they also collaborated with ETH Zurich, and a diploma in Mathematics with honors from the Technical University of Clausthal.
