Aviva Lahmany has a diverse work experience spanning over multiple organizations. Aviva began their career as an Office Administrative Assistant at Boston University School of Law from August 2011 to December 2013. Following this, they worked as a New England Campus Coordinator at StandWithUs from June 2014 to April 2015. Aviva then joined Combined Jewish Philanthropies (CJP) as an Assistant in Donor Relations & Stewardship from March 2015 to November 2015. Aviva then transitioned to UJA-Federation of New York, where they served as a Senior Development Assistant from November 2015 to July 2016.
Most recently, Aviva has worked at The Aleph Institute since June 2017. Aviva started as a Development Coordinator and held this role until February 2020. From February 2020 to July 2021, they served as an Associate Director of Development, and they are currently working as the Human Resources Director, starting from July 2021.
Aviva Lahmany attended Cohasset High School from 2006 to 2008, followed by Winthrop High School from 2008 to 2010, where they earned their High School Diploma. Aviva then went on to study at Boston University from 2010 to 2014, graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy and Pre-law.

The Aleph Institute is a 501c3 certified non-profit Jewish organization dedicated to assisting and caring for the wellbeing of members of specific populations that are isolated from the regular community: U.S. military personnel , prisoners, and people institutionalized or at risk of incarceration due to mental illness or addictions. Aleph addresses their religious, educational, and spiritual needs, advocates and lobbies for their civil and religious rights, and provides support to their families at home left to fend for themselves. The Aleph Institute is committed to criminal justice reform and recidivism reduction through preventive-education and faith-based rehabilitation programs, re-entry assistance, alternative sentencing guidance and counsel, and policy research and recommendations.
