Barbara Wiggs-Nelson Arm

Barbara Wiggs-Nelson ARM is an experienced Employee Benefits Advisor and Risk Manager at Alera Group, Inc. since September 2013, specializing in the development of long-term employee benefits plans utilizing both Self Funding and Fully Insured solutions. In addition to this role, Barbara serves as the Foundation Board Chair at New Directions for Women, where advocacy and resource development are crucial for advancing the organization's mission of supporting women affected by alcoholism and related issues. Prior experience includes serving as a Senior Benefit Consultant and Partner at Benefit Solutions Company from June 1997 to September 2013. Barbara holds an Associate of Risk Management from the Institute of Risk Management, and a BS in Marketing from California State University, Los Angeles.
