Dmitri Moundous, Ph.D.

Dmitri Moundous, Ph.D. has extensive experience in the contract laboratory services market. Dmitri began their career in 1994 as a Senior Researcher and Postdoctoral Researcher at North Carolina State University. In 1998, they became a Scientist I at Magellan Laboratories, Inc. and in 2001 they were a Research Scientist I at Bertek Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Dmitri then served as a Lead Scientist at Cardinal Health from 2002 to 2005, before becoming Bioanalytical Director at Eno River Labs in 2005. From 2006 to 2009, they were a Senior Scientist at Cirrus Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and from 2009 to 2010 they were an Analytical Chemistry Manager at Micell Technologies. In 2010, they founded and became President of Alera Labs, LLC, achieving profitability in three months with gross sales totaling over $250K in the first year.

Dmitri Moundous, Ph.D. received their Ph.D. in Bio-organic Chemistry from the Novosibirsk Institute of Bio-organic Chemistry between 1987 and 1993. Dmitri also obtained their M.S. in Chemistry from the Novosibirsk State University (NSU) between 1980 and 1985.
