Maria Sánchez-Mayendía

Maria Sánchez-Mayendía has held several roles in the energy sector over the past 14 years. In 2022, they will become the Director at Alerion. From 2018 to present, they have held the roles of Directora desarrollo europa and Directora de desarrollo EERR Mexico y Brasil at Naturgy. From 2015 to 2018, they were the Gerente de Promocion America at Grupo Aldesa. Prior to that, from 2008 to 2015, they were the Gerente de energias renovables, Desarrollo de negocio Peru, and Responsable promocion energías renovables at Grupo Cobra. In these roles, they were responsible for the promotion and development of renewable energy installations, the development and preparation of energy-related contests and tenders, the development of wind farm projects in Peru, and the promotion of renewable energy projects in Andalucía.

Maria Sánchez-Mayendía attended the Escuela de Dirección de la Universidad de Piura in 2014, where they studied Responsabilidad Social Corporativa. Maria also attended the Universidad de Córdoba from 1999 to 2006, where they obtained a licenciada in Ciencias Ambientales.
