Jeff Ponders II is an accomplished entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in various leadership roles. Currently serving as a Board Director at Alerje and a Board Observer at InvestNext, Jeff is dedicated to transforming investment management processes. As Principal at Invest Detroit Ventures and Co-Founder/Investor at Commune Angels, Jeff focuses on enhancing access to capital for diverse startups. With a background as a Keynote Speaker at J. Alvin International LLC, Jeff utilizes expertise from entrepreneurship, executive roles, and artistic endeavors to foster creativity and innovation. Previous positions include CEO/Co-founder of Steamster, Entrepreneur In Residence at TechTown, VP of Innovation at Leo Burnett, and a multi-talented saxophonist at HotSauce Entertainment. Jeff holds a B.S. in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management from The Wharton School.
