Guy Slagmulder has extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies in the finance and security sectors. Since November 2003, Guy serves as the Managing Director and Owner of Alertis Fire Safety & Security, which specializes in the design, installation, and maintenance of fire, gas, and intrusion detection systems, as well as CCTV and access control. Guy is also the Chief Executive Officer of Alertis nv, previously known as Ardovlam nv. Prior to these roles, Guy worked as the Director of Corporate Finance at Fortis from 1997 to 2003, focusing on advising IT companies on equity financing. Additional experience includes serving as General Manager at Meli nv from 1994 to 1997 and as a Corporate Finance Officer at Lessius Management from 1992 to 1994. Guy holds a Master in Management from Vlerick Business School and a Master in Science from Ghent University, as well as a Latin-Greek Humanities degree from Sint Maartens Instituut Aalst.
