Steven Pilz

Steven Pilz has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Steven currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at Alethea since September 2019. Additionally, they are a Partner and founder at AltoSante since December 2019.

In the past, Steven Pilz held the position of CEO at VillaPilz since July 2012. Steven also worked as a Mentor at Innovate Calgary from January 2013, providing guidance and support to participants in the GTM program. As a CIC Fellow at Calgary Innovation Coalition from January 2017 to April 2020, Steven contributed to the organization's initiatives.

Steven also served as an EiR/Subject Matter Expert at Platform Calgary from March 2019 to March 2020. Furthermore, Steven served as a Board member and Director at Calgary MakerSpace from June 2014 to December 2016, contributing to entrepreneurial support networks.

As a Strategy Consultant for VillaPilz, Steven worked with the Alberta College of Art and Design (ACAD) from July 2015 to February 2016, focusing on incorporating the Maker Movement and Maker Culture to advance ACAD's long-term goals.

Additionally, Steven served as a Management Consultant for Shell Canada and the Oil Sands Safety Association from May 2014 to January 2015. Steven worked on management and strategic projects during this period.

Steven Pilz has a strong educational background focused on executive education and business administration. In 1987, they began their studies at Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Business Administration in 1991. Following this, in the year 2000, they attended the Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University, where they participated in an Executive Leadership Training program. In 2002, Steven pursued further executive education at the University of Groningen, specializing in Organisational Change and Strategic Marketing.
