Dominic Giles has over twenty years of work experience in various industries. Dominic currently holds the position of Head of Information Technology at Alētheia Capital, a role they have held since February 2020. Prior to this, they were the Managing Director of R&D Tech Limited, where they were responsible for project leadership, programming, and day-to-day operations. Before that, they worked as an Enterprise Services Executive at Geodesic Ltd, specializing in web-based CRM project management for financial institutions. Dominic also has experience as a PADI Master Instructor at Ban's Diving Resort and as a Senior AI Computer Games Programmer at Bits Studios.
Dominic Giles completed their BEng (Honours) degree in Computer Engineering from Imperial College London from 1996 to 2000. Prior to that, they completed their A-Levels in Computing, Maths, and Electronics at Cranleigh School from 1993 to 1995. Dominic also obtained their GCSEs in various subjects including Computing, Maths, and Art from King George V School, Hong Kong from 1990 to 1993. Dominic attended St Paul's School from 1987 to 1990, although their degree and field of study is not specified. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have certifications as a Teacher of English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) from i-to-i TEFL, and as an Emergency First Responder Instructor and Master Instructor from Emergency First Response and PADI, respectively.
