Katie Belanger

Katie provides audit, tax, and consulting solutions to sophisticated nonprofit organizations, including multi-service human & social service providers, residential and day treatment agencies, early education and care (EEC) agencies, and independent schools. She has extensive experience auditing nonprofit organizations in accordance with Uniform Guidance/Single Audit and Government Auditing Standards as well as those with Uniform Financial Statement filing requirements.

She provides best practice recommendations on operational and internal control systems and processes to help clients mitigate fraud risks and gain operational efficiencies. She advises clients on compliance with federal and state grant requirements and optimizing cost allocation methodologies and reimbursements for the best financial results. Katie coordinates with AAFCPAs’ multidisciplinary team, including in-house Tax Consulting Attorneys and healthcare reimbursement consultants, as needed to bring the very best appropriate talent to their clients.
