Ewurakua Dawson-Amoah

Ewurakua Dawson-Amoah is a founder of The Melacast Network, a platform established in February 2018 that connects actors, directors, and crew of color with the resources needed to create diverse film narratives. In addition, Ewurakua is a Hamilton Scholar since May 2015, participating in a leadership and mentorship program focused on community service. Ewurakua has also held the role of Director at Greenpoint Pictures from June 2021 to June 2023 and interned at Gotham Sound and Communications, Inc. and First Run Features from May 2019 to September 2019 and February 2017 to February 2018, respectively. Ewurakua earned a Bachelor's degree in Film and Television from New York University, where attendance was from 2016 to 2020, and previously attended Linden Hall School for Girls in 2015-2016.
