Lauren Farahani has gained valuable work experience in the fashion industry over the years. Lauren started as a Design Intern at Derek Lam in 2014 and later worked as a Freelance Knitwear Designer at 3.1 Phillip Lim in 2015. In 2017, they interned as a Design Intern at Proenza Schouler and simultaneously worked at HELMUT LANG as an Assistant Technical Designer for Wovens & Knitwear. Lauren'sroles at HELMUT LANG and Proenza Schouler lasted until 2019. From 2018 to present, they have been working at Alexander Wang Inc., initially as an Assistant Designer, then they were promoted to Associate Designer, and currently holds the title of Designer.
Lauren Farahani pursued their Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fashion/Apparel Design from 2013 to 2017 at the Fashion Institute of Technology. During their time there, they also had the opportunity to study at Politecnico di Milano in 2015 and 2016, where they further honed their skills in Fashion/Apparel Design. Prior to their studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Lauren attended New York University from 2011 to 2015, where they earned their first Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree.
