Torben Blach

Torben Blach has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry. Torben began their career in 1994 as a Project Manager and Technical Consultant at Stibo Catalog, where they were responsible for the development of CD-ROM and Internet Catalogues for international customers. In 1998, they moved to TDC Internet as a Project Manager, where they specialized in online portals. Torben then moved to Stibo Graphic in the same year, where they were Head of the Digital Publishing department and Account Manager with financial and technical responsibility for one of the company's biggest clients. In 2006, they moved to Amdocs Advertising & Media as Development Manager, responsible for an international development group specialized in Internet solutions for Yellow Page companies. In 2007, they became Manager at Vestas Wind Systems A/S, where they were People- and Technical Manager for a department of highly skilled developers specialized in the development of Wind Turbine Controller Software. In 2010, they became Department Head of Online Services at CCI Europe A/S, where they were a Project Manager for a number of International software implementation projects. In 2015, they moved to GoApplicate A/S (now Systemate A/S) as Project Manager, where they focused on digitalizing and developing software systems to support the green transition and extended producer responsibility. In 2021, they joined Alexandra Instituttet as Sr. Program & Business Development Manager, where they are responsible for business development and project management of primarily commercial projects across Alexandra Instituttet's departments, with a focus on developing solutions in Data Science and AI based on the latest IT research and technologies.

Torben Blach's education history includes a Master of Science in Computer Science from Aarhus University, which they completed between 1986 and 1994. Torben also studied Industrial Marketing from 2000 to 2002, and Organization and Leadership from 1998 to 2000, both at Aarhus University.
