Pekka Junes

Pekka Junes has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries. Pekka began their career as a salesman at Superkuva Kallioniemi Oy in 2000 and worked there until 2004. Pekka then joined Tekniset Valokulma Oy as a salesman and worked there until 2007. Following that, they worked at Veikon Kone Oy as a Store Manager from 2007 to 2009. In 2008, they took on the role of Housebuilder and project manager at Paroc Arctica passive energy house, where they managed the construction of a passive energy house. From 2009 to 2013, they worked as a Store Manager at Expert ASA Oy. In 2013, they joined Alexandria Pankkiiriliike as a Private Banker and later took on roles such as Regional Manager, Head of Development and Education, and Chief Customer Officer. Their responsibilities at Alexandria Pankkiiriliike included customer experience management, IT development projects, and being the product owner of the Alexandria web service.

Pekka Junes has a diverse educational background, with a focus on data processing and business administration. In 2020-2022, they attended Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences and earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree in Data Processing. Prior to that, in 2017, Pekka pursued an Investment Advisor Degree at Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development.

Pekka also holds a Vocational Qualification in Business and Administration from Tampere Vocational College Tredu, which they obtained from 2014 to 2016. Furthermore, they acquired an Investment Services Degree through Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development in 2015.

Before their recent education, Pekka studied Marketing/Marketing Management at the University of Lapland from 2005 to 2008. Pekka also pursued Information Technology at the University of Tampere from 2001 to 2004. In 2000, Pekka briefly attended Tampere University of Applied Sciences, studying kone- ja tuotantotekniikka (unfinished business).

In terms of secondary education, Pekka graduated from Muurolan Lukio in 1999, obtaining their Secondary School Graduate degree.

Additionally, Pekka has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. These include certifications in AI and generative AI from LinkedIn and Microsoft, as well as certifications in digital strategy, business analysis, and predictive analytics from LinkedIn. Pekka also completed a Microsoft Power BI Data Analyst certification offered by Sulava in 2022.
