Diana Tavares Mertz

Diana Tavares Mertz, CAE, has extensive experience in membership and engagement, currently serving as Senior Director of Membership and Engagement at the American Staffing Association since July 2011. Diana has held multiple leadership roles within the organization, including Senior Director of Councils and Member Engagement and Director of Sections and Member Engagement. Additionally, Diana has been a Zumba Instructor for the City of Alexandria, Virginia, since January 2015 and previously worked as Marketing and Membership Manager for the American Society for Nutrition and as Head Team Advisor for the National Student Leadership Conference. Diana's international experience includes serving as an education volunteer with the US Peace Corps in Kenya. Diana holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Forensic Science from Baylor University and completed the ASAE Leadership Academy from 2009 to 2011.
