Kelly Nissen

Kelly Nissen, Ph.D., has amassed extensive experience in biotechnology investment and research. Currently serving as Principal at Alexandria Venture Investments since August 2018, Kelly Nissen previously held roles including Senior Associate, Associate, and Senior Analyst at the same firm. Prior to this, involvement included a Business Development Co-op at L'Oréal and a Biotechnology Investment Internship at Longitude Capital. With a Ph.D. in Genetics from the University of California, San Francisco, Kelly Nissen's research led to multiple high-impact publications and significant collaborations in academia. Additional experience includes product development and strategic consulting roles, highlighting a strong background in both scientific research and business development.
