Lake Akinkugbe

Lake Akinkugbe has a diverse work experience in finance and management. They started their career at Accountemps as an Accounting/Finance Consultant in 1998 and worked there until 2002. After that, they joined Martin-Brower as a Regional Accounting Manager, where they worked for eight years. In 2011, Lake joined Integreon as a Controller, and later became a Senior Manager of Financial Planning & Analysis. In 2012, they joined Prince William County Service Authority as a Management & Budget Project Manager, and eventually became the Deputy Director of Management and Budget. Lake's most recent position is the Director of Finance at Alexandria Renew Enterprises, where they started in February 2023.

Lake Akinkugbe's education history includes multiple degrees and certifications. In 2001, they graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance. After that, they completed their Master's degree in Accounting & Financial Management from Keller Graduate School of Management of DeVry University in 2010. Additionally, they earned an MBA from Marymount University in 2004. More recently, Lake attended the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School until 2016, focusing on Water and Wastewater Executive Leadership. Additionally, Lake has pursued certification as a CPA candidate.
