Nazia Millwala has a diverse work experience, primarily in the fast-food industry. Nazia started their career as an Audit Associate at KPMG, where they worked with Fortune 500 clients. During their time at KPMG, they led the HSBC retail-banking audit for two years.
After KPMG, Nazia joined Yum! Brands, where they held various roles in different regions. Nazia served as a Senior Business Analyst for KFC and Pizza Hut in the Middle East, North Africa, Pakistan, and Turkey. In this role, they provided extensive analysis and reporting on business performance, marketing strategies, and budget optimization.
Nazia's achievements at Yum! Brands include resolving a value crisis in Pizza Hut Turkey through data collection, menu analysis, and pricing studies. Nazia also developed KFC Middle East's regional pricing architecture through elasticity modeling and consumer research.
Later, Nazia became a New Business Development Manager for KFC and Pizza Hut, focusing on untapped markets in the Middle East, North Africa, and Pakistan. Nazia later took on the role of Senior Development Manager, overseeing franchise partners and driving restaurant expansion in Canada and the Middle East.
Most recently, Nazia joined Alexandria Restaurant Partners, LLC as the Vice President of Finance in 2022.
Nazia Millwala has an educational background that includes an International MBA from IE Business School and a B.Com degree with a double major in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wollongong. Nazia has also obtained additional certifications, such as the Certified Management Accountant (CMA) from IMA | Institute of Management Accountants in 2019 and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA) in 2007.
