U17boys And U16boys Head Soccer Coach For Alexandria Soccer at Alexandria Soccer Association

Badara Dia is a dedicated soccer coach and educator with extensive experience in both coaching and teaching. Since August 2018, Badara has served as the U17 Boys and U16 Boys Head Soccer Coach for Alexandria Soccer Association. Concurrently, Badara has been part of the teaching staff at Kenmore Middle School within Arlington Public Schools since September 2004. Additionally, Badara is the founder and president of Papa Dia United Soccer Heroes/Papa Dia United Soccer Roots (PUSH) since January 2004, demonstrating a commitment to developing youth soccer talent and fostering community engagement through sports.

Alexandria Soccer Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, established in 1970 in Alexandria, Virginia. ASA operates in the City of Alexandria, Virginia, and offers soccer programs for children ages two through Adult. ASA programs are intended to develop good character, mental and physical fitness, and interpersonal skills through soccer activities. Sportsmanship, social skills, and self-esteem are developed by player participation and regular interaction with volunteer and professional coaches. The mission of Alexandria Soccer Association is to provide instructional and competitive soccer programs that develop and motivate citizens, build character, and make a positive impact on Alexandria and the surrounding communities.
