Alexandria Soccer Association
Michael Gaines II is an experienced coach and content creator in the sports industry. Currently serving as a coach for Alexandria Soccer Association since June 2023, Michael also hosts and produces the 312 Podcast, focusing on soccer, since May 2022. A former student athlete at Penn State University, Michael contributed to the men's soccer team, winning the 2021 Big Ten Regular Season and Tournament Championship. Previous roles include serving as a sports anchor for Culture Central, where Michael co-hosted a sports segment that won PSNTV's Best Anchor Duo in 2023, and as head coach of the PG Young Boys u23 team. Additional experience includes campus ambassador duties for Sperry, research internship with 4th and Just Us, and executive office assistant at BROWN GAINES, LLC. Michael holds a Bachelor of Arts in Broadcast Journalism from Penn State University, awarded in 2023.

Alexandria Soccer Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, established in 1970 in Alexandria, Virginia. ASA operates in the City of Alexandria, Virginia, and offers soccer programs for children ages two through Adult. ASA programs are intended to develop good character, mental and physical fitness, and interpersonal skills through soccer activities. Sportsmanship, social skills, and self-esteem are developed by player participation and regular interaction with volunteer and professional coaches. The mission of Alexandria Soccer Association is to provide instructional and competitive soccer programs that develop and motivate citizens, build character, and make a positive impact on Alexandria and the surrounding communities.
