Tabitha Saunders is a certified athletic trainer with extensive experience in injury prevention and rehabilitation. Currently serving as a Certified Athletic Trainer at OrthoVirginia since November 2020 and as an Athletic Trainer with the Alexandria Soccer Association since April 2021, Tabitha has developed a strong expertise in sports-related injuries. Previous roles include Certified Athletic Trainer at the Medical University of South Carolina from June 2019 to June 2020, and Athletic Trainer at Carilion Clinic from July 2016 to June 2018. Tabitha also worked as a Patient Service Representative at Progressive Physical Therapy in South Carolina between September 2018 and June 2020. Tabitha holds a Master's degree in Health, Exercise, and Sports Science from The Citadel and two Bachelor's degrees in Athletic Training from the University of Lynchburg.

Alexandria Soccer Association is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, established in 1970 in Alexandria, Virginia. ASA operates in the City of Alexandria, Virginia, and offers soccer programs for children ages two through Adult. ASA programs are intended to develop good character, mental and physical fitness, and interpersonal skills through soccer activities. Sportsmanship, social skills, and self-esteem are developed by player participation and regular interaction with volunteer and professional coaches. The mission of Alexandria Soccer Association is to provide instructional and competitive soccer programs that develop and motivate citizens, build character, and make a positive impact on Alexandria and the surrounding communities.
