Aïcha N. Traoré

Aïcha N. Traoré, MD, MSc, mMBA, currently serves as the Director of Global Epidemiology for Hematology/Nephrology at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since February 2023. Traoré has extensive experience in epidemiology and outcomes research, having previously held roles as Senior Manager of Outcomes Research at Boehringer Ingelheim and Medical Lead for Evidence Generation at Takeda Canada, where significant contributions included the development of Real-World Evidence (RWE) studies and strategic collaborations across departments. Traoré's career began in various epidemiological roles, including positions at Roche and the World Federation of Hemophilia, with a strong educational background that includes a Doctor of Medicine from Université Félix Houphouët-Boigny and multiple certificates in relevant fields. Recognition includes several awards from Takeda Canada and proficiency in creating high-quality epidemiological data for health technology assessments.
