Christophe Hotermans

Christophe Hotermans, MD PhD, currently serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Global Medical Affairs at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., a position held since December 2020. Prior to this role, Christophe held the title of Senior Vice President of Global Medical at Akcea Therapeutics for a brief period in 2020. Christophe's extensive experience at Biogen spanned over a decade, where responsibilities included Vice President roles in both US Medical and Global Medical Therapeutic Areas, as well as leadership positions in neurology and hemophilia. Earlier in the career, Christophe served as Chief of Clinic in the Neurology department at CHU Sart-TimanULg in Belgium. Educational qualifications include a medical degree from the University of Liège, obtained between 1989 and 1996.
