Claudia Vainstein

Claudia Vainstein, CPA, MBA, currently serves as Head of Finance for the US Business at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since September 2025. Previously, Claudia held various leadership roles at AstraZeneca from 2018 to 2025, including Executive Director of Market Access Contract Operations and US Controller, focusing on financial oversight, budgeting, and compliance. Prior experience includes serving as US Financial Controller at Vernalis, Senior Manager of Finance and Accounting at Endo Pharmaceuticals, and Head of Internal Audit at Urban Outfitters, Inc. Claudia's career in finance began at PwC and Grant Thornton, where significant audit and financial reporting responsibilities were managed. Claudia holds an MBA from the University of Miami Herbert Business School and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Universidad Nacional de Tucumán.
