Irfan Ali Mohammed

Irfan Ali Mohammed, MS, is an experienced professional in pharmaceutical development, currently serving as Director CMC Team Lead for Product Development and Clinical Supply at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. Since December 2020, Irfan has been responsible for leading the Global CMC Development Strategy for the Factor D Portfolio, overseeing a $90 million budget and guiding interdisciplinary teams from pre-clinical through commercialization. Previously, Irfan held roles at Nevakar Inc., focusing on formulation R&D and leading significant cost-saving projects, and at Teligent, Inc., as their first R&D scientist for sterile product development. Irfan's educational background includes a Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics and a Master of Science in Industrial Pharmacy.
