Lori Karpes

Lori Karpes currently serves as the Director of Injectable Drug Product Development and Genomic Medicine Lead at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc. since January 2024. Prior to this role, Lori Karpes held various positions at Oxford Biomedica Solutions and Homology Medicines from June 2019 to August 2023, including Director and Associate Director of Drug Product Lead. Earlier experience includes a Senior Scientist position at Voyager Therapeutics, Inc. from April 2018 to May 2019, as well as roles at Biogen from October 2011 to April 2018, where Lori Karpes contributed as Scientist II in Gene Therapy Drug Product Development and Protein Formulation and Process Development. Lori Karpes earned a Doctorate in Pharmaceutics and a Bachelor's in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Purdue University, completing the Doctorate in 2011 and the Bachelor's in 2007.
