Peter Dimauro

Peter DiMauro is an Associate Scientist III in Biologic Drug Product Development at Alexion Pharmaceuticals, Inc., since March 2017. In this role, Peter contributes to the downstream protein purification development of biopharmaceuticals aimed at treating rare, life-threatening diseases. Prior to this, Peter worked as a Process Development Associate III at Protein Sciences Corporation from October 2008 to February 2017, where Peter focused on downstream protein purification for the recombinant influenza vaccine, Flublok. Peter began his career as a Biophysics Lab Assistant at the University of Connecticut from October 2005 to October 2007. Peter holds a Master of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology from Quinnipiac University (2009-2013) and a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cell Biology from the University of Connecticut (2004-2008).
